Stopping by for medical Monday. This is my first one!
ReplyDeleteJust a response to your earlier post. I will say this....the more money you make, the more money you spend. I remember when my Doc Hubby finished his residency and he said to me "You don't have to buy the no name pickles anymore" obviously meaning I could splurge when I did my grocery shopping.
ReplyDeleteBut, I do think that a budget is always a good idea! I still buy the no-name pickles...
Thanks for co-hosting Jane:)
Stopping by from Medical Monday, thanks for having us.
ReplyDeleteHi Jane! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for your lovely comment on my blog! And as to yours...I think it's so lovely that he wanted to treat you & I'm sure he's gotten it out of his system :D We're just going to be starting residency and while it's nice to be getting paid, we're already preparing to live on a budget.
Enjoy all your new stuff! ;)
Happy Medical Mondays! Glad to link up again.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for letting me link up with you. I always look forward to Medical Monday!
ReplyDeleteHi Jane! Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my blog. I can definitely relate to your last two posts. Our story is a bit different as I married my DrH when he was done fellowship; however, until then I'd been on my own and living a pretty frugal lifestyle. I still ended up furnishing a lot of our house with stuff from Kijiji and Freecycle because I'm so not used to having money to spend... although I pushed for a brand-new couch this year so I guess I'm making progress. :-)
ReplyDeleteHappy April Fool's Day and MM!
ReplyDeleteLove linking up again!
Cheers!
